Bluetooth Permissions

The App requires Bluetooth access to discover and connect to compatible awning controllers.

Bluetooth communication occurs locally between your mobile device and the compatible controller.

Android Location Permissions

On Android devices, the operating system requires Precise Location and Coarse Location permissions in order to scan for Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices.

These permissions are used solely to enable Bluetooth device discovery and connection.

Global Heritage does not use these permissions to:

Determine your physical location
Track your movements
Collect location history
Perform background location tracking

Background Access

The App does not use:

Background Location
Background Bluetooth

Bluetooth is only used while the App is actively operating.

Bluetooth Device Information

The App processes Bluetooth device information required to:

Discover compatible controllers
Establish Bluetooth connections
Operate awning and lighting functions

This information is exchanged only between your mobile device and the compatible controller.

It is not transmitted to remote servers or retained by Global Heritage.
